There’s a strange space in life where you no longer feel like the person you used to be, but you haven’t fully become who you’re growing into either.
It can feel empty. Uncertain. Even lonely.
We often rush through this part because we think we should already know what comes next. We try to replace what we lost, find another direction, or recreate the comfort of what we already knew. But sometimes the uncertainty isn’t something that needs to be fixed.
Sometimes it’s the space where change is happening.
Letting go of an old chapter doesn’t mean erasing it. The people, experiences, mistakes, and memories that shaped you still have a place in your story. You just don’t have to keep living there.
Growth often asks us to walk forward before we can see exactly where we’re going.
So if you’re somewhere between an ending and a beginning, don’t be afraid of the open space. You don’t need to immediately fill it.
Give yourself permission to be unfinished.
The person you’re becoming may need that empty space to emerge.
