Sometimes the hardest part of letting go isn’t the ending itself. It’s accepting that something we gave our time, love, energy, or hope to is no longer meant to continue.
We can look back and wonder, What was the point if it was only going to end? But not everything meaningful is meant to last forever.
Some chapters exist to change us. Some experiences teach us what we need, what we value, and who we are becoming. Their ending doesn’t erase what was real or make the time we spent there meaningless.
Letting go isn’t throwing the past away. It’s taking what it taught you without forcing yourself to keep living inside it.
You can appreciate what was and still choose what’s next.
Sometimes the greatest way to honor an old chapter is to finally turn the page.
