You Don’t Need a Sign—You Might Need to Make a Decision

Sometimes we ask the universe the same question over and over.

Show me a sign.

We notice repeating numbers. We analyze dreams. We look for strange coincidences. We wonder whether a song playing at the perfect moment means something.

And sometimes, those moments genuinely feel meaningful.

But what if there are times when we aren’t actually searching for a sign?

What if we’re searching for permission?

Deep down, you might already know what you want to do. You might already know which relationship isn’t right for you, which direction you want your life to take, or which version of yourself you’ve outgrown.

The problem is that knowing doesn’t always make choosing easy.

A decision means accepting uncertainty. It means realizing there might never be a perfect moment when everything suddenly makes sense.

That’s where spirituality can become complicated. We can become so focused on receiving guidance from outside ourselves that we stop listening to the quiet voice within us.

Intuition doesn’t always arrive dramatically.

Sometimes it’s simply the thought that keeps returning when everything else becomes quiet.

Maybe not every decision requires another sign.

Maybe sometimes the sign is that you’ve been asking the same question for months.

At some point, you have to trust yourself enough to choose.

Because maybe the universe isn’t refusing to answer you.

Maybe it’s waiting to see what you choose.
